EAC...........Stars!!

Stars are the theme for Everybody Art Challenge this week.

I have rescued one of the Saturated Canary image that disappeared from my external hard drive.  When I download for stamp an image I often did two and put them in a file so I have spares.....fortunately I round quite a few - happy dayes!!

I am liking a CAS style more often, feeling the images speak for themselves and don't need too much embellishing - this is the one and all I added where the stars added for the theme challenge.

Everybody Art Challenge..........Flowers !!

 I didn't manage to get my card into the challenge this week. I've had my new Multi Fuel / Wood stove installed and when the new flu was added a film of soot settled everywhere so crafting etc. was impossible.  I have been cleaning all day, not I think I need a bath as well as my clothes.

This is one of my Saturated Canary images that I lost - I had partially coloured it last year but wasn't happy with the colouring so I put it into a file and left it - as I didn't have the original I decided to continue colouring in this one.

The image is called Saturated Canary Witchweys and coloured with Simon Says White Cardstock in Copic Markers. The panels are a Marsha Stewart 'Cherish' with in Simon Says Stamp Black, Bazzill Gummy Bear and Green Apple.

The flowers are a mixture from my stash and the Hero Arts Midlight Black Accent Pearls.

Sketch Saturedy !!

I've mad a card for Sketch Saturday this week and use the Saturated Canary image - Nikki - one of the few Saturated Canary image that didn't disappeared when my TrekStor  (external hard drive) collapsed.

I coloured Nikki with Copic Markers and some papers are some I've had for a couple of hears - I kept saving it but decided it was time to use!!

LIM...........Jewel Colours !!

This week at LIM is the first month which means it's a Colour week and we are looking for 

Jewel colours

The image is a Saturated Canary called Pixie Dust, I had already started colouring this with the blue intended green but changed them to 'red'........they are now Sapphire and Garnet gemstone colours. 
I use Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles to cut the image an the papers who are some from an old pack from Hot of the Press,  strangly  enough called JEWEL.

Our challenge this week at Everybody Art Challenge is.....

WEDDING

I love this Saturated Canary image - Marry Me and was a delight to colour her.

I do find colouring white is more difficult other colours but I do enjoy trying. I added quite a lot of embellishment which is fun but do have to be careful not to overload and still leave the image the prime focus.

This is the result -  I do like but need to change the sentiment!!

Everybody Art Challenge.........A Sketch !!!

We have a fabulous sketch for you at Everybody Art Challengethis week, I've used one of Saturated Canary images called Tilly.
I usually colour an image and they fly around trying to find some papers to match, this time I decided to choose the colour and papers first - it was easy with this one as Tilly could be coloured any colour, in fact I would like to colour it again a totally different scheme, perhaps blue and green??

I chose to use these beautiful papers by Maja Desogns called 'Walking in the Forest'. I've had these papers for 2/3 years - I loved them so much I couldn't bear to use them - now I've managed!!!

Because of the stunning papers I didn't want to add any embellishments so I just added a bow and small charm and a vellum tag stamped with the Magnolia sentiment.

I have troubled photographing this card getting the colour right - I managed first thing this morning.

I decided to you a Saturated Canary image today - this one is called Geekin' It and coloured her with Copics. I've used very colourful card today - not like my usual at all - the papers are from one of Simon Says Monthly Kit. 

This week we are showcasing My Favorite Things products. I had two intending to use - I rushed ahead make the card and Ooops forget to end my MFT dies. I've been a manic week and at the last minute - couldn't restart my card so I succeeded by adding some of MFT Stacking Stars Dies - I love these stars - they are so useful and fit in many occasions!!!

I also added a small wooden ruler - (EDITED -  Maya Road Wood Mini Ruler) I searched the store but couldn't find them - I do know they are there but I ran out of time - I have loosing my internet on and off all morning and started panicking about be so late!!!
