Simon Says..................Anything Goes with pearls !!!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and this week the challenge is

ANYTHING GOES WITH PEARLS 

Please remember to add some pearls, pearlised papers, perfect pearls etc on your creation

Here is my first card - I still haven't the Shabby Chic totally out of my system yet!!! 
We are showcasing Bazzill products this week so I've used all cardstock with them - I chose Bazzill Neutrals together with a little of  Candy Bar. I distressed my edges with Tim Holtz Tonic Paper Distresser
Our Challenge this week is Anything Goes with Pearls  -  I have linked the Prima Swirl Lace Cream, I'm not sure this is the particular one as I lost my packet and had to guess which particular one I used. I also used
Melissa Frances Cream Pearls with the center flowers and the other could are some 'out of sale' Basic Grey pears which are a perfect match.

Here is my second card  - being my usual 'wishy washy' way I couldn't make my mind up whether to be more of a Shabby Chic or more Clean & Simple - so I made both!!! I liked both for different reasons!!

The materials are used basically the same I listed before with the additions of the ones list below.

I used Simon Stamps Full Hexagon Craft Die with the previous Bazzill cardstock and used Simon Says Stamp Braclet Edge Die Set and added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Apothercary Die and Lavel Set.

I stamped the sentiment on a My Favorite Things Designer Labels Stax 3,  used Memory Keepers  Power Punch Crop-A-Dile and attached some Tim Holtz's Idea -ology Crinkle Ribbon once I have died it with Distress inks with Mustard Seed

Our new challenge at  Everybody Art Challenge this week is.................

RIBBON & LACE

I think blogger is playing again - I uplaoded this card yesterdat - when I went onto my blog to finish off my details and it was blank - it has disappeared ??? I scrapped it and started again only to find I couldn't upload my card - this has happened once before. I had loaded into the EAC card so I had to copy and past it!!! Not a good start to the day !!!

My image is Teen Fairy Mia from Mo Manning and coloured her with Copics.  I think I would have made her a little bigger but I wanted her nicely in the center of the page.  I used two layers of Spellbinders Borderabilites - the middle one is from stash (another piece not to be carted back to the UK)

The lace is IRL white - but just photo'ed cream - sigh!!!

I added a white voile bow at the top right but after I'd added a flower and some berries it didn't look like a bow at all!!! I added a Simon Says Stamp folded banner with a Papermania's sentiment.

I have a plan to use Monica a few times on one card - I need time to design how to put it all together and haven't had the time this week.

I have lounged in bed most of this weekend. I woke up the middle of Fri/Sat feeling rather light I had a hangover - had never had a drink, honest!!! I couldn't get back to sleep and felt yucky  all day - headache, aching - I think it probably a reaction to paint - anyway I did nothing all weekend so through this card together pretty quickly.

I did have a sentiment I wanted but was far too big so I took little pants of it and computer generated it - then took the photo without the sentiment on it - I told you I wasn't well - my memory isn't that's for sure!!!

Simon Says Stamp Challenge with Splitcoast Stampers LOVE FEST

Die Crazy

I have been have a Shabby Chic mood coming on for a while - the basic card has been waiting to be embellished so time and the opportunity arose with this Love Fest at Splitcoast Stampers.  

I started by using the Impression Obsession Cling Stamp Crackle with Simon Says ink Dark Chocolate,using Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Hearts in various sizes and layered them up with each other.  I wanted to use  Simon Says Stamp Holiday Shapes  but not just have them 'sit' there so I attached them to wire and had them floating - it does look more impressive than I managed to photograph it.

When I'd eventually decided on the embellishments this is the result.
