Simon Says February 2014 Stamp Kit

This is a card for Simon Says Stamp Card Kit 2014 I love it - it is full of beautiful colours and papers - They are Basic Grey  Fresh Cuts Pad and I shall certainly buying  another one if possible!!!

The Simon Says Stamp  are Thinking Of You and added to the vellum, from the kit and stamped their sentiment with WOW Opaque Fine Embossing powder and embellished with a couple of Martha Stewart Royal Butterfly.

I enjoyed making this card, especially as it fairly quick and easy - not like my usual cards that take me forever to get together!!!

WEDDING OR ANNIVERSARY

I decided to photograph this image in the morning - went to get it - it had totally disappeared. I spent about an hour searching everywhere, the bin, with papers I'd had out - I'm pretty calm normally but I flew into a panic - not time to re-make it - eeek!!! I found it under my desk under the top of a piece of paper - pheww!! I dusted it down and photo's it quickly. I suspect the 'CAT' had knocked it off my desk.

I use the sweet Wedding Day Marci and coloured her with Copics. I decided to give her a cream dress and veil and kept the colour scheme with a cream/lemon colour. It was a little diffiicult to photo - I used some netting at the top of the page and let it drift down over Marci - sadly it didn't show!!

I used dies to create a wedding bower with the Simon Says Stamp Clustered Leaves Die and  Prima  Frost Frappe .

Masculine !!

I've used Magnolia's cute Edwin (Edwin waiting) and coloured him with Copics. As he was dangling his feet from nowhere  I thought I had better make him a river bank. then for course he needed some grass which eventually need some sky and clouds. He was looking a little despondent  - probably because it look like rain and also his river wan't deep enough to catch any fish!!!

The top sentiment is from Simon Says Square Sayings and the lower one from a Mouse Mouse Designs sentiment. I added some My Favorite Things Fresh Cut Grass and a few Simon Says Small Forest Tree.

Everybody Art Challenge..........A Sketch

Here is the new week's Everybody Art Challenge and the theme this ................

A Sketch.

The image is one I got from Sherri Baldy Etsy shop and it is called cameo2inka (or at least that is in my computer ???) I coloured her with Copics - I'm having problems with Copics at the moment - it does at this time of year - I can only presume it doesn't like the cold - they just don't blend as well as they should.

The papers are from Basic Grey Pheobe and have kept this pretty simple - I think the image speaks for itself. I just added one flower and a little leaves and pearls.

I hope to find time to visit you today - packing things away to be ready to travel back to the UK is so time consuming - especially when I have tons of crafting some, never used but am arguing myself - should I throw away or should I keep it ???

I decided to use lemon with by third colour this week - the downside of this I didn't have lemon lace or flowers. To overcome this I died my lace with  Distress Inks Mustard Seed - yellow hands will wash of before long - I'm sure!!!

Colouring flowers with Copics was easier although a little fiddling!!

I do love this sweet image although it is pretty big  - it does make colouring easier!!

The patterned papers have bee dragged from my 'bit box' I'm trying (not very well) to used up everything I can't  throw out before I pack to take back to the UK- wish me luck!!!
