Simon Says...................Make your own background !!!

wed-newchallenge-header

Now we have time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  and

for this week the challenge is ,,,,,,,

MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

i.e no patterned papers unless you have altered them. You can emboss, stamp, stencil, paint, spray, etc

We are showcasing Gelli Plates and Stencils  this week.
Gelli Plates are available in 2 sizes 6" X 6" or a larger one which is 8.5" X  11"
You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used :-)
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon

I couldn't wait to have a play with a Gelli Plate - now Iv'e realised I'm addicted and need so many more stencils shape and sizes to use.
I loved the  Simon Says Stamp Stencil Ring Cluster as it a irregular shape - I used that as the pain part of the plate and also used some bubble wrap and strips of some corrugated card. I did try a die feather but it need a stamp of a real one - I shall go to the local duck pond and pluck a duck - no I wouldn't really - they do leave some lying about.
I added some snow flakes, two of them Spellbinders old ones. I have some on ordered from Simon's Says but have just arrived one from my Simon Says Card Set - too late !!

Materials and Tools
Image: Gelli Arts Printing Plate

this is some of the dozens prints - I would  like (need) some more stencils to work with them - I like how the mid-bottom one has turned out and think I would like to use a silhouette stamp on it.
