Basic Grey - Weather

I had two Tilda's with 'Weather' but I couldn't make my mind up which to use so I did both - this one is finished but sadly time time ran out with the other. I used the Livestyle Crafts Netting Frame for the card itself and Phoebe for the Basic Grey papers. I used the usual Copics  but made a boo-boo by using a die and sentiment stamp with vellum - it looks fine IRL but doesn't show on the card itself - I shall have to change it!!!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

TRIANGLES!

this can be triangular shaped cards/creations, a triangular shaped element eg banner, or paper with a triangle embossed printed or masked design,,, we will look forward to seeing your interpretations :-)

We are showcasing The Crafters Workshop Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used :-)

Our challenge this week is Triangles, I had the idea of making a triangular box. I then needed to design the box - but guess what Lols cut one for me from her Silhouette Machine  Cameo Cutting Machine - this saved me so much thinking, planning and designing - thanks Lols - love you, miss you and NEED you!!!

The basic cardstock is Bazzill Icy Mint and Marshmallow

I used Crafters Workshop template Mini Windsong and used Judikins Stippling Color Dusters using Hero Arts Sort Sky and Field Green.

I left one of the sides and decorated it with Simons Exclusive Fresh Daisies Die, coloured with the Same Hero Arts inks and sparkled the petals with Rangers Stardust Stickles once tied a Impression Obsesson Button Die and fine ribbon.

The Simons Exclusive Hexagon sets (cut two sizes) for the sentiment with Simon Says Cupcake Party

                         

I've shown the front, one side (both identical) and the back.

They will open completely but decided use a We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile punched with a ribbon and open the one side which I can add a small gift!!

LIM - Colour challenge

This is my Less is More for this week - I lost last weeks!!!

I didn't have any shoes so I thought I would design my own.

I drew it, coloured it, embellished it, cut it all out read to add to my card - THEN LOST IT!!!

I search everywhere but it has never been seen again - obviously it's walked off.

I didn't have much look in creating this one either - my embossing ink has all dried up, I had problems last week - I have three  large and one small pad but none were any use - I'm putting down to the heat and humidity. I've ordered more put still waiting for it.
I have been trying to use my trees - eventually I surrendered and resorted to colour - this is the eventuall result.

House Mouse & Friends - Mid Way Reminder Heat Embossing

This little sweet image is called 'Grape Dreams' and coloured him with Copics.

I used my background papers with Obsession Impression - Crackle and heat embossed it with Zing Opaque Embossing powder  and used a Brayer with  Adirondack Eggplant. I just used a 'fish tail' as a little interest and added a sentiment.

What a lousy photograph - a pretty lousy day today so far. I couldn't get into my bin, the lock just jammed - not good when you need (with this hot weather) to get the bin out - not stuck with in the kitchen!!!
I managed eventually - almost 3/4 hour later - I shall have to go the Stadt and sort it!!

Saturated Canary

 Who's a Happy Bunny ???

I have used Elphie this time - I haven't used this before but really enjoyed colouring her.

I always used to enter Sketch Saturday - but somehow it 'fell by the wayside' as with many challenges. It's time I got my backside in gear!!!

I have many blank card 6" x 4" and with this sketch is was perfect to use - the beauty  is the image

looks larger and has more definition!!!

I hope you are all having a great weekend - the weather here seems to have broken - lot's of thunderstorms all though it is still very hot and humid - my poor cat is suffering - I think bathing with cool water might help!!!

oh what a mess!!!

This is another card that has taken from brain to paper and took a couple of days before I decided to my self 'Heather - post it before I start faffing about with more bits and pieces on the page, removing and more bits arriving!!

At Totally Tilda the challenge is a Bingo - I aimed to make the full house - I did until I looked at the Christmas Trees looked stupid so I took them.

The challenge at Bearly Mine is a Sketch - I did manated that - whoopee!!

Just look at that mess - it was so tidy until I went around the mountains collected things spead in about every  rood. I have to say the bathroom escaped - I have to say it frequently looks worse. I really must stop spreading thing around - it takes me for ever to put it all away. I won't show you the rest of the room - eeek!!

Calling all Children !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my favourite challenge - I just love the amazing creations that the Children produce, they are   so talented.

YAY !! It's time for our Annual Summer Children's Challenge !! Woo Hoo !!

School has broken up for the summer and it is nice for our children to get crafty so this challenge is especially for them.

The theme for this challenge is ,,,

ANYTHING GOES,,, with the optional extra of ICE

ice cream, ice lollies, ice cubes, ice skating ,,, snow, snowflakes ,,,

Entrants must be between 2 and 16 years old
