I couldn't make my mind up what to use this week - I have had this little Splitcoast Stampers Backpack Box for a while, I also had this La La Land Backback Marci image for some time so - I decided to do both.

I made a notebook and added a bookmark and a pen ( I bought a small pen but sadly have hidden it!!!)

I mad a little fob for the backpack.

I decided to opt out for a 'Clean & Simple' design for this challenge.

I kept white with only the image coloured with Copics. I use the bottom of the card with the Cuttlebug with  D'Vine Swirls and the top half I used the Martha Stewart Scoring Board and accented with  Hero Arts Small Pearls.

I'm hoping I'll manage time to do some visiting - my house is for sale and have spent ages tiding up the trash I make creating before viewers arrived. I now have an offer so I hope I have time to visit before I have to began packing - eeeeeeek!!!

Challenges

Less Is More..................Round and Round

This weeks  Less is More is 'Round & Round'  I could be disqualified for this as Mudpie has chomped a chunk out of the Doughnut so I haven't actually got a circle!!! 

The image is coloured with Copics and the sentiment is C.C. Design's 'Be Happy Sentiments'

I did have a second card for last week but didn't have time to finish it - I am entering it now as it also has it sort of has many 'Round & Round' if it included the balloons.

It is a lousy photograph as I took it at night trying to finish it - I will re-photograph a better one in the morning!!

Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit 2013

The new fabulous Simon Says Card Kit came out yesterday.

I am absolutely love it!!!

I am also thrilled that I received it in enough time to be able to start it strait away - the PO usually managed to deliver it when the new Kits are due!!!

This is the first card I have created with this great Kit and have another one the say!!

This is all from the Kit apart from a Martha Stewart border punch and a couple of Hero Arts pearls/

The next card is one from the Kit from July, sadly by the time I has received the stock was 'SOLD OUT'

I loved the fabulous thing in this Kit so I made a  few cards - these papers are stunning - the only thing not from the set are the two little stars which are Studio Calico which I sparkled them

I thought the central black stars would show more sparkle   - I'm not sure it does ???

This week the challenge is...........

MONOCHROMATIC

The image is Smooches Jerome,  I paper pieced the image using papers Melissa Frances Attic Treasures and coloured him with Copics. I embossed his beard with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl (de-bossend) and his moustache with Textile.

For cardstock I use Simon Says Stamp White Cardstock, Bazzill Candy Bar and Neenah Environment Kraft Cardstock.

I used dies with  Wplus9 Hearts & Cloudsn My Favorite Things Grass and Impression Obsession Die-cut Buttons and added the buttons with Hemptique Natural Twine.

 Sentiment an old Hero Arts (unable to link) stamped with Adorpmdack Dye Espresson

 My accessories  are aWe R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper, Kool Tak Clear Pads for the piecing, Glue Arts Glue Glider and a Fiskars Stamp Press.

                                   

Less is More

Here is my this week's Less is More  this is a One Layer Only week - so I could only find Die-cut numbers - But then low and behold I found this Bo Bunny stamp with a clock - they are Roman numerals so I presume this is OK.

It took me about 5 minutes making the card then it took me about 35 minutes trying to find the small hand of the clock searching around which I dropped in a bowl of soapy water eeeeeeek - won't do that in a while!!!!!

Now while putting things away - guess what I found - some part of some numerals - not exactly my day!!
