I'm not sure I can call his card as 'tartan' - I know I had some tartan ribbon somewhere but couldn't find it anywhere. Not to worry I decided to make my own on the computer - It took me ages and was thrilled successful only to find I had run out of printer colour ink - grrrr!!!
I ended up using some check - not tartan as a subsitute.

Don't you just love the little Mousies all snuggled up waiting for Santa to fill their stocking??
I coloured my image with Copics and kept it very pretty CAS just adding a of tag from the Magnolia Doohickey club along with a few  Jingle Bells which I coloured with some Sakura Metallic Markers.

Heather, A-dorble!!!! I didn't think I needed this stamp, but now that I see it all colored up and a card done by you, I do. Wonderful color work as always, and the plaid is perfect! Love the bells too!!!

Hmmm, this looks tartan to me, but I'm not totally sure of the difference between tartan and checks, so I'm no expert. Whatever you call the pattern I think it goes really well with the image and it adds a little masculine feel to your card. Cute.
