La La Land Heart Key Marci immediately came to mind when I say this challenge - I coloured Marci with Copics and mounted her on a  Marianne Creatables  LR0236.  The DP's are KaiserCraft Pink Gelato - one of my favourite Designer Paper - one that I looked at and stroked especially since it now obsolete - boo-hoo!! The embellishments are are variety I've used from my stash.

Another good idea gone wrong!!!
I found one my leaf stamps and decided to create a background  and stamped it with Hero Arts Gold embossing powder and cut the panel out with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles - good so far. I backed the whole and used the image with Neenah Kraft cardstock. I stamped some gold extra leaves and cut them out with Memory Box Tender Leaves to add them as a carpet for 'Contented Mudpie' to sit on and the 'Jumping for Joy' little mouse to bounce on. I add a ribbon and a few beads and charm.
This is where everthing went wrong - photographing it  - the ribbon is  a Kraft colour - it looks orangy and the charm look silver whilst it is goldish!!  I photo'd it several time but eventually surrendered!!

Simon Stamp Says Sneak Peek revealed!!

This is the card I showed for Simon Stamp Says Stampteember Monthly-long Stamp Party.

Here I made a Shadow box style using Lifestyle Crafts Nestability Frame 4 Four Coockie using  Simon Says Stamp White Cardstock and Lavender. The shadow is set back using a few layers of Darics Double sided Foam strips to give more depth.

Magnolia's Tilda with Daisy Mae the Tiger is coloured with Copics and placed within the frame.
I then added I added embellishments - the Simon Says Stamp Large Holiday Shape Craft Die are stamped with Paper Artsy Mini Text   and flowers cut by Memory Box Cherry Blossom Die and Memory Box Fancy Blossoms. I  cut out the flowers, inked them with the Simon Says Stamp Die Ink Lavender Pad spritzed with water and screwed it us until dry - open them out and added together with Tombow Multi Glue  for a vintage look.  Then I finally added the ribbon and Simon Says Stamp Medium Tags Craft Die stamped with Simon Says Clear Stamp Square Saying edged with Simon Says Stamp Die Inks Lavender Pad and  Bean Stalk

LIM....................Face the Music & Dance

I've had this waiting to be published for a couple of days - I've been suck trying to sort out problems with Inlinkz - I've only just got rid of sorting out Google/Blogger making changes again!!!!

The current Less is More  challenge is now....

FACE THE MUSIC AND DANCE !!!

This is one of my favourite of Mo Manning's images.
(Do you get fed up of me saying this is one of my favourite ........ - trouble is I have an ever-ending list  images I absolutely love!!!) Anyway back to the little ballerina - she is delightful and I've coloured her with Copics and sparkled her dress with Stickles. The music image is from Kaisercraft Clear Stamps Sheet Music, stamper with Distress Ink Victorian Velvet. Search as I could I have now stamped image relating to music or dance so I uploaded one from the Quote Garden.

Simon Says......................Anything Goes !!!

This week the challenge is ,,,,,,,,

ANYTHING GOES

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store
50dollar_voucher_600px

I find Hero Art stamps so 'useable' and so different ways to use I can never stop and make one image. This challenge I ended up making three projects using the Hero Arts Silhouette Grass - the first one is use with blending randomly with Distress Inks over the image after embossed them - I also added the text ink (from an old Tim Holtz  stamped) - stamped again with the same inks. I added a Spellbinders Fancy Tag with a greeting from Simon Says Cupcake Party

The next card (they are all 'variations on a theme') I stamped the top right and bottom left on the card stamped with Hero Arts Leafy Vines to pull the image panel and card together. I added a Memory Box butterfly and a couple of old dragonflies I dug out of a box. The Simon Says stamp Thinking of You craft die are added on vellum. The colour of this card is stronger than IRL!!

The final card  is a tag/bookmark. The Ranger Silver Embossing Powder looked stunning but struggled yow to add it all together. Eventually I inked the Hero Arts Silhouette Grass with the Distress inks with blue as a background and then used the Silver embossing powder as a border - this was used a flourish with an old Magnolia New Year flourish. I backed the whole tag/bookmark with Simon Says Cardstock Blue Violet defore adding sine silver ribbon and Lawn Fawn Silver Twine.
I hadn't a clue what I was doing when I started out with this creations - it developed itself but I ended up loving it!!!

I had a problem with linking the list yesterday - I thought I had sorted it out this morning - however some of the links missed themselves from the list. Email me if you need any queries!!

So now it's YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting
There are fabulous Give Aways and inspiration from fabulous designers on a daily basis over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog , if you haven't subscribed by email you may want to so you don't miss out
