you can make a tag or add a tag to a card/project.
We are showcasing TIM HOLTZ PRODUCTS this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

This week we are showcasing Tim Holtz products - I never know where to start - I got all my TH products out and played around with many different things - today I decided on a Christmas Tag.
I started with a white American White Tag and added a layer of TH Vintage paper stack (not available??) and covered with  vellum. I added the Tim Holtz  Pine Tree Snow and Snow Flurries of the Edge after I had used some of the Urban Tapestry stamp set (I love this one - beautiful and so useable). I also added some of Simon Says Stamp Full card Hexagon craft die, which I forgot to Inlinkz (smacked had!!!) I die cut this and then added part of them with embossing paste.
I added some lace with some leaves and flowers along with a few pearls.  I coloured the flowers and the Crinkle Ribbon with Distress Ink.

So now it's YOUR turn.  Happy Crafting

House Mouse Mid Week................Paper Piecing !!!

Our Midweek challenge is of course the very talented Dorte Kvist who is hosting and chosen this super FUN theme;

~Paper Piecing~

Papercraft paper piecing is;  cutting pieces out from a design and layering them on paper. This is a versatile technique and easily adapted. Rubber stamps designs are often used for paper piecing projects. A design can be stamped several times on a piece of paper and then these can be cut and adhered to a project. See Paper Piecing for a step by step guide to this technique.

ALL challenges have the alternate option of *ANYTHING GOES* too!  So come PLAY ALONG with us and enter your projects using stamps, CD images or decoupage by;

My image is House Mouse Designs called Tubby Bears featuring Patch, Pebble and Biggly,  aren't they just adorable. I coloured the image with Copics and deiced to look a little like a bathroom.  The background papers are from a Simon Says Stamp Kit, also the towels and bathmat  which I  pieced. Beneath the image
Below the 'wallpaper' I use Simon Says Stamp Stamp Woodgrain cardstock and aso the 'shelf' make with a MFT Blue Print 13 Die-namics. I embossed a 'vase' full of Simon Says Meadow Rue craft die and their Forest Tree craft die. In the shelf I added some nautical  MFT Sea Charms

lovely hAnglAr or sweet Magnolia..................Spots & Dots !!

 Well I've ended up with 3 cards to post today - I suspect Blogger is playing again. Every time I tried to go somewhere or do something I got the message - I couldn't connect to the internet or had to need to be member before I could upload a card - on my own blog ???. I thought it was my internet connection which can be somewhat temperamental - that was fine so it has to be blogger - does anyone else having problems ???
I switched the computer off before I really lost my timper!!!
 This is the first card - its from yesterdays new challenge

I used Simon Says Cardstock Cotton Candy, used their Medium Dots Stencil - firstly using a Prima Chalk Edger - move the stencil slightly and inked again with Hero Arts Soft Pink ink.
The image is Tilda with Rose and coloured with Copics.
The flowers are from my Crealies  -  I found burried in one of my boxes. The Magnolia tag is used with Dreamweaver paste and Crafter's Workshope texture stencil.

I quick post and now I shall prepare my next one before I can have Google/Blogger  tells me he couldn't connect to the internet.

Simon Says...........A Special Birthday

I have just now uploaded a birthday card I made for the lovely Heidi (Simon Says Stamp)

I started the card with Simon Says cardstock Sea Grass and stamped with Hero Arts Elegant Brocade stamp with Color Box ink Frost White, I embossed the Crafter's Workshop Mini Texture stencil with Dreamweaver Embossing Paste.  I covered the  Diamond Net White Crinoline across part of the card and stitched them into place.
Finally all left to do is to embellish the card. The flowers are Memory Box Cherry Blossom and Fancy Blossoms - I use Simon Says Premium Dye Ink Lavender/Purple to ink white card, sprayed the, scrunched them up, let them dry then open them up and add them together. The larger one I added some stamens and pearls on the smaller one.
I finished the card with a tag and vellum with a sentiment from C.C. Designs
I do create some rubbish at time but I loved how this turned out - I just hope Heidi likes it!!
