We will be back soon with the name of the lucky winner of the $50 Voucher for the Embossing Challenge !! :-)
This week the challenge is ,,,,,,,,
CELEBRATE STAMPTEMBER® AND USE A PRODUCT FROM THE SIMON SAYS STAMP STORE.
Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. During the past 11 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember®” event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complimenting ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, life documenting, art journaling, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.
To celebrate the 4th annual Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® event, we're 'hopping' along sharing some great projects featuring the new STAMPtember® product releases!
It's one of the biggest releases to date and features new stamp sets, dies, flair and stencils!!
The hop begins at the newly designed Simon Says Stamp Blog, so if you encounter any broken links while 'hopping' you can head back there for a full list of participants.
For this challenge, to help celebrate STAMPtember® ,we would like to ask you all to use a product that is available in the Simon Says Stamp Store and state what you used on your blog post to be eligible in the prize draw.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
I love these hew stamps and dies - they are so adaptable for mix and matching!!!
On this first card I have used Stamps - Tag Sayings and the Stamps - So Beautiful set
The paper is from Simon Says Stamp Card Kit is sold out. They are fabulous kits - packed with goodies and selling light 'Hot Cakes' so you really need to put an order better still a Card Kit Supscription
I've used Neenah Desert Storm and Simon Says Stamp White cardstock 120lb tobether with a Maya Road Envelopes White Polka Dot Kraft. The border is cut with MFT Scallped Scallops and Cuttlebug Swiss Dots.
American Crafts Solid Satin Ribbon was used on the tags and the envelope.
Memento Tuxedo Black are used for the Sentiments and the tags and coloured with Hero Arts Soft Pink Blossom.
This is a second card - I really liked this CAS style one - it didn't photograph very well but looks much better IRL.
The sentiment is Clear Stamps - Thanks inked with Hero Arts Tide Pool. The Simon's Exclusive Full Page hexagonal is used and papers from Simon's Says Stamp Card Kits. Elizabeth Craft Designs Double Sided Tape Sheets is essential for adding the papers - unless you have more time & patience than I have!!!I finished this with Tim Holtz's Idea-ology Crinkle Ribbon - died with distressed inks - ironed it so it doesn't look so crinkly and added a small heart inked with Tide Pool and stickled with Stardust.
