Everybody Art Challenge - Pearls

Another Everybody Art Challenge is upon us again and our theme this week is.................

PEARLS

For my image this week I have used the adorable Violet Vintage from Krista's Saturated Canary. She is coloured with a mixture of Copics and Prismacolor Pencils .

I did the idiotic thing of colouring the image before choosing papers. I resorted in using plain cardstock and stamped the darked brown with a Archival ink in black with a Prima floral image.

I used a Martha Stewart Double Scallop, added a fibbon dyed with Distress inks and added a pearl brad.

The pearls around the image are dug out from my stash.

The image is Special Delivery coloured her with Copics

The papers are Rainblow and I have use a Spellbinders Floral Oval beneath the image rather than a doily - simply because I made one by mistake and thought I would use it!!!

I kept this very detailed image simply and just added American Crafts which think is out of stock.

This is my second time as GDT for Kenny K's Krafty Krew, and the theme this week is 

TIC-TAC-TOE

my line is - Swirls, Digi-image, Ribbon & Die-cuts

Mpw I didn't realy engage my brain when I chose this image ............. it made it difficult to choose which line for a male card. I coloured my image and then spent a forever rooting around my stash box tryng to find suitable papers......this is the result.

The image itself is Ryder Cole digital stamp and coloured with a combination Copics and Polychromos. The papers, as I said are dug out of my hoard of stash.

One From Simon's Stamp Kit - for Fun!!

This card has papers from  my Simon Says Stamp Kit  (March) - sandly now Sold Out!!

The border is a EK Success Scallop Diamond and the panel is cut from a mixture of Spellbinders Ovals and Scalloped Ovals. This is ecorated with a mixture of Simon's Exclusive Harrington Vine and Magnolia Sprawling Ferns. I used Prima  flowers Cameo Roses Aqua and added a small ribbon from stash.

LIM - casing!!

Oh dear - this card didn't travel from head to paper!!!

I know exactly what I intended to make  but it fought the whole way and ended up insisted of doing exactly what it wanted to do.

I used a Hero Art image Elegant Brocade with Colorbox Frost White and emboseed with a Heat Gun with American Crafts Zing Opaque.

In Spades the oval is part of the Spellbinders  Floral Ovals set, the central of this is stamped again with the  Elegant Brocade and stamped with the Avery Elle All Occasions Tags.

I would like to start again and make another attempt but sadly I am short of time.

Simon Says..........Anything Goes

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for Travel/Cityscape Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is .............ANYTHING GOES

We are showcasing Impression Obsession this week. You don't have to use them to join in but we would love to see them if you have any :-)

As always Heidi will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!

         

I used Bazzill Gumball for my base and used the Impression Obsession stamp - Crackle inked with Timp Holtz Distress ink with Tumbled Glass. I cut it into strips and edge with the sewing machine. I next cut with Spellbinders Labels 4 in Bazzill Gumball.

I used Vellum with Hero Arts Striped Flower and Clear Stamp 'Sew me Flower Jewel', I stamped with the Colorbox Frost White and emboseed with a Heat Gun with American Crafts Zing Opaque.
I used several layers together and added with Ranger Pop-it shapes to give some volume.
I decorated the Labels 4 with the flower and  Simon's Exclusive Harrington Vine and the Memory Box Lorelai Leaf. I finished with May Arts white Grosgrain ribbon and some seed pearls for the flower center from my stash.
