Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !!
This week the challenge is ............
EASTER/SPRING
As always the lovely Heidi will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
I decided to make a basket - this tutorial was on Just Magnolia many years ago so I thought it was time to give it another go. The papers Magnolia called Little Cottage and cut into strips and woven to create the basket. I have used eggs (naturally!!!) - there should have been more but I needed to test them - a few times - just to make sure their OK!!
I used Magnolia's Hello Tilda - I adore this one so she hatches out at Easter each year.
Whe is coloured with Copics and the edge is Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace as is the handle and edges of the basket.
The handle is decorated with Memory Box Lorelai Leaf, Cherry Blossom, Fancy Blossoms and Pippi Butterfly.
the other end of the basket is used May Arts white Grosgrain ribbon American Crafts Pearl Brads.

I'm glad the eggs passed the eating test!!! The lacey trim is wonderful with the gorgeous flowers - the white makes such a super contrast with the patterned paper & the eggs plus the colouring of the image.
