CAS ................well sort of !!!!

Each New Year I decide I am going to make at least one CAS card per week.
I'm not very good at it - no - let's be true - I'm useless at it!!! I always feel like something is missing, especially along the corners.
Practice makes Perfect - or so they say - I'm not sure about that but I WILL TRY - so........

here is nomber 1
how let's see how long it lasts!!! Constructive criticism would be mush appreciated -  please tell me what is wrong and/or what I can put right.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit for  October Kit apart from the hearts which are Wplus9 dies Hearts and Clouds, it is used a plain brown card stock - and that it is!!!
At least my post is nice and sweet and doesn't last as long as usual.

I hope you all have a brilliant weekend..................

Heather this is a gorgeous less is more creation. Also live the earthy colours. Very different to your trademark style, but yet so effective. It really is perfect.

It's no good asking me, Heather, I struggle really badly with CAS cards and I like your idea to try and make them on a regular basis. I love the woodiness of this card. It seems to me that there is a tendency amongst CAS stylers to not centre their image and maybe use the upper or lower left or right sections of their cards. That is not a critisism because I'm in no place to critisize - its just something I have observed but I rather like this fun masculine valentine! Hugs, Lesley

It's a cool card. My only tiny suggestion my be a greater colour contrast to the background. Have a great weekend.

CAS is not something I do either - I spend more time trying to work out if it's OTT or will qualify than actually crafting.
You're a brave soul.......

PS - I've given no suggestions as I'd be a kettle commenting on a black pot (or whatever the wretched English idiom is supposed to be, no doubt not the way I have it!)

I too am trying hard to learn to make CAS cards, and I think this is one of the coolest CAS cards I've ever seen! I LOVE how the patterns on the circle are slightly angled with a single word in the center, and those white hearts balance everything perfectly for me! I LOVE the woodgrain background too! No criticism from me - I like what I'm seeing :)

It's a great CAS card. The wood tones are so striking! You probably could have gotten away with just one heart if you were trying to pair it down, but it looks great either way. I always struggle with trying to add more and more things to cards too, lol.
