LIM..........One Layer with Water as the theme!!

The the new Less is More challenge is......
ONE LAYER with the theme is WATER !!!

I've has this Simon Says Waves Stencil for ages but never used as yet so this was a great opportunity, I used an  Hero Arts with a combination Soft SkyStone Wash and Soft Lilac Purple.  I stamped a Magnolia seahorse with Memento black ink and masked it then used the inks to use the stencil.
I secondly used my Copics Markers to colour the image. I thought so the seahorse had a little too dominant so I re-added the stencil and re-inked it lightly - now it looks as it is somewhat submerged in the waves which is what the effect I was looking for.

1_323194_FS

This is a card made for the products in the Simon Says Stamp May 'Happily Ever After' Kit.
The have so many beautiful foiled papers, the one problem was just making my mind which to use first...........this one............

I chose this one as it is my favourite - I think!! - it more or less created it's self.
I stamped the sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder and also used the stamp to created the corner spots. The gold hearts are from the part of some of the fabulous stickers in the Ket.
