Your favourite Basic Grey Colour/Combo

What is my favourite colour ??  Anything soft and gentle colours so for this one I have chosen Basic Grey Periphery

I can't stay away from Tilda at the moment - she is Tilda with Hawaii Flower and using Tim Holtz Distress Inks Distress Refills,  I am jumping at the moment from between Copics,  Polychromo pencils and  Distress inks. I do feel certain images suit better with some medium than another.

I've used the Magholia Doohicky Leaf and Swirly Lace as a border, and  Magnolia flowers Cherry Blossoms among others.
The butterfly is of no origin - I've had it forever and love it - I've coloured it with the distress inks and Stardust Stickles and with Tilda's butterflies.
I've added a little tag to tuck in and used lace and a sparkly ribbon to finish.


EDITD - I've managed to work my camera - yipee!! Photographs are still rubbish though!!

Couldn't take anymore photographs - it 'stopped'  for some reason??? I all ready had the one. I shall now try to sort it out and finish the rest!!!

Simon Says........Anything BUT a Card!!!

Anything other than a card is this week's challenge and  we (the DT ) are using either 7 Gypsies or Maya Road Products  - I chose  7 Gypsies Album Book Journal to use to make as a Birthday Book - mine lost when I moved house and have been managed with note books or little noted in the computer - so - I decided it was time I treated my self to a new one.

I decided to deep the very simple of the 'Book' it will kept on the shelf and will be used regularly so doesn't need anything that will catch.I just used Magnolia's Fairy Dust  and the Mini Edwin - sent by a Friend but I could't find to link!! I use Tim Holtz's Paper StackVintage Shabby and Spellbinders Fancy Tags, all inked with Distress.

I used a Stampendous alphabet and coated it with Glossy Accents.  Tim's Corners will used when I they have gone into hiding whilst I was having my Craft room been blitzed and renewed.

       

I managed to colour one of pages - I really thought I was going to finished - HaH!!! I think I live at Cloud 1, Cuckoo Land!! Just 11 more pages to go!!!

The image for the outside image is the sweet Sarah Kay - Sweet Romance, I am coloured them with my
Prismacolors and the papers are Bo Bun.y - Welcome  and I used the borderI coloured the border by  Martha Stewart - Pansy and added  Magnolia - Swirl and Magnolia - Swirly Lace.
Memory Box Cherry Blossom and  Fancy Blossons - I love these as they don't take up too much bulk and are so pretty. A Heart Doily used as   complete the page.

Everybody Art Challenge

This week we would like you to THINKING of you on Everybody At Challenge 

I've  chosen Tilda with Flowers this week and coloured her with Distress Inks. The papers are K&Company and called Classic K McKenna - I had forgotten about it but found it which I had to empty my craft room was  being blitzed and renewed.  Memory Box 

 

I used the inside with the Mamory Box dies, a  ribbon and a plain card fir sentiment on.

I am sorry I am so late today,  I wonder why the Doctor makes an appointment at 8.00 am and then keeps one waiting  four half the day.  I only needed a blood and blood pressure tests. I wouldn't have had blood pressure if they hadn't of  kept me out waiting!!!  I didn't didn't have blood pressure actually - surprisingly!!!

Challenge and Candy

It is time for a hew challenge for House Mouse and Friends challenge and this week our super talented and sweet Teamie,  Kate Wiles, is the hostess this challenge and she would like your designs to have

LIQUID REFRESHMENTS FOR HOT SUMMER DAYS 

The image is called 'Sharing a Drink' and I've  made  sure they have nothing  stronger than  Lucezade !!

I have coloured them Polychromo's this time - I am swapping around from Copics, Pencils and inks - I like them all and each have different qualities.

The outside and in  have both been used by Basic Grey Marrakech papers. I tried to use some embellishments but failed -  everything look better with no details, although a little ribbons was OK.

So, not only do we have great sponsored prizes this time, but some of our beloved Mousey Designers will also have fab CANDY as prizes to give away on their own blogs! 

We have a special celebration this week, we have now hit 1000 followers, how fab is that, so as a thank you the DT have some candy up for grabs.

A Box created for me today!!!

I needed some 'playtime' today so I made a box

The box is created by Tanja at Stempeleinmalein
4" x 4" (10cm x 10cm) which is a brilliant size and will be used many times I#m sure.

I've used Bazzil papers for the base covered with Tim Holtz  Vintage Shabby .
The ribbon is used to tie it together.

I've lined the inside but left it simple so I can add a small gift.

I have decorated the outside with a simple few flowers and an odd leaf.
Great fun and very simple, I love making boxes!!
