A new challenge at lovely hAnglAr or sweet Magnolia this week - the theme is..............

Your Favourite Colour Combo

I've missed a couple of challenges with being in the middle of moving - so I ended up betting into a muddle and made the wrong card for the wrong challenge and had to quickly rush together another one.  I couldn't made my mind up what my favourite colour combo - either pink with grey or brown, or blue with grey and brown. In the end I use pink and blue -  say no more!!!

I use Magnolia Tilda with Fantasy Flower and coloured her with Copics. The image is  cut with Simon Says Stamp Postage Stamp Edge is used for the stamp and used the Simon Says Stamp String of Hearts and Pointed Feathers.

The papers are from Maja and the flowers a mixture from my stash.

Tilda fun in the Snow

I've just found this image in list of posts waiting to be published. It's probably been there for 2/3 weeks - time to tidy up my craft room and blog details etc.

I wanted to make a sort of CAS Christmas card - I used Magnolia's Snow scarf Tilda from last year Christmas set. I coloured Tilda with copics but used Cotman watercolours to create the background - I've used Cotman paints for years and find them the best results but perhaps I should try another make???. 

 I added a Frostyville Border from Memory Box and added the sentiment also from the Magnolia's set.

LIM.....................A Sketch

I'm late for my Less is More card this week - I've had builders in causing disruptions including disconnection the electricity. I eventually managed a card using a Cuttlebug Anna Griffin Embossing folder - I've had it for ages and really need to be used!!  The flower is Stampendous Fresh Bloom which I think has been 'retired', I coloured it with Color Box Frost White ink and Zing White Embossing Powder. The flowers are coloured from the inside with Copic Blue Blending Markers - the stamens are added with Ranger Liquid Pearls White Opal and the large centers Melissa Frances Large Trims Baubles. The sentiment is a ancient one which I think is from Whiff of Joy.

I hope you all have a great weekend with hopefully good weather - we in the UK have been promised a heatwave in September - I'll believe it when I see it!!!

This challenge should have been easy - it wasn't because I had too much choice of which of my Memory Box products to use. I wish I had more time (have joiners knocking a partition down  at the moment) so I had little time and couldn't get into my craft room.

I opted out on use the Memory Box Frostyville Border and the Quinn Flourish as I decided it was time to start on Christmas cards. I wanted one a 'pretty' card and used Simon Says Stamp Sea Glass. I cut the circle with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Circles and added a sentiment Happy Sentiments embossed with Silver powder.

This Stamp is no longer available and rare. Isn't that just so cute, and so fitting for this challenge theme too?

 I'm late again - I can't keep my head above water at the moment.  I have a builder arriving this week to remove a partition in the bedroom - this means I have to remove everything possible out of the room - the only place I can move it is my craft room. I was just betting my craft room organized now I can't move or find a thing - again!!!

I used the cute Gruffie - 'A very Beary Birthday' - I coloured him with Copics and added Aleene's Glitter Snow - I used Distress Inks Shaded Lilac to colour the 'Icing' . I made a candle with glitter papers - the one on the image was a little small so I added a larger one - I could add more candles 

The papers are Bazzill Gummy Bear (what a great call for a Gruffie BEAR) and the patterned paper is from Maja.

My embellishments are Simon Says Die and Stamp Set - ric-rac ribbon from the adorable America Khun , the Memory Box Precious Stars. and the ribbon is some metal stuff I'd packed up from The NEC some years ago - interesting stuff - make a bow and then pull it into what every shape you wanted - the downside is that hit photographs so dark although it is rather pale Lilac.

I decided to you a Saturated Canary image today - this one is called Geekin' It and coloured her with Copics. I've used very colourful card today - not like my usual at all - the papers are from one of Simon Says Monthly Kit. 

This week we are showcasing My Favorite Things products. I had two intending to use - I rushed ahead make the card and Ooops forget to end my MFT dies. I've been a manic week and at the last minute - couldn't restart my card so I succeeded by adding some of MFT Stacking Stars Dies - I love these stars - they are so useful and fit in many occasions!!!

I also added a small wooden ruler - (EDITED -  Maya Road Wood Mini Ruler) I searched the store but couldn't find them - I do know they are there but I ran out of time - I have loosing my internet on and off all morning and started panicking about be so late!!!
