House Mouse & Friends.............Mid week

I seem to have abandoned my blog and blogging the last few weeks -  partly due to the festivities taking

the better of me and also due to having been ill. The weather is bizarre - hot, cold, dry, torrential rain and unbelievable winds - that results in a sticking cold, throats etc. going around here for weeks now - it was just passed around and around - I hope it has come to the end - I'm not having it any more and its time

to get back to a little crafting and blogging!!!!!

I kept this new image with a CAS style - mainly because I struggled to use gold.

I coloured my image with Copics and mounted them on a Cuttlebug's embossing folder 'Seeing Spots' and use all the edges with a gold Sakura pen.

I added gold twine and added a couple of bells and some Studio Calico wooden stars, coated with the pen and coated with gold Stickles.

The 'sprinkles' the little Mousies are adding on the biscuit are gold Stickles and didn't show very much so I make a close-up photo of them.

Merry Christmas and two more escapees !!!

I have never been so disorganized before at Christmas before - am I ready - NO!!!

I've found another couple of Christmas cards not uploaded so I thought I had better do that before it's too late!!

The first one is a from a LOTV image - one of my favourite and I coloured them with Copics.

I've used the Impression Obsession trees and Hero Arts Falling Snowflakes stamp. The sentiment is from C.C. Design and used plenty of Fun Flock on her hood and Arleen's Glitter Snow.

This is a silly card for my son - some years ago I sent him a postcard from Fuerteventura - a black card on the front with the sentiment - 'A Fueraventura at Night' .  I spotted something similar on Pinterest and thought it should sent another 'silly' card. I think it speaks for itself.

The large star is from Memory Box and the smaller ones from Simon Says Exclusice Holiday Shapes - the are cut with glitter papers. I added the Googly eyes with a red pearl for Rudelph - I had to use the sentiment to computer generate.

I have not found time to call around and visit you this last couple of weeks - I truly lost the plot recently but hope to see you all soon, meanwhile I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and all have fun with you families.

Simon Says Stamp December Warm Holiday Wishes Kit ,

 This was rather difficult to photograph but neither show the beautiful pearlescent ssheen to the whole card!!

I have another card from the December Warm Holiday Wishes Kit ,

I haven't used of Doodlebug Home for the Holidays papers or the Big Holiday Wishes stamps this time I have used Bazzill cardstock - Whirlypop.

I have use the Stencil Maryanne  Snowflake are all used from the Kit and one of the Simon Says Exclusive die Kate Snowflake. I've used Tsukineko Sponge Daubers with Hero Arts Soft Blue and Stone Wash given with a spray of Lindys StampGang Scintillation Silver

I used Bazzill Vellum with the sentiment and Simon Says Stamp with Simon Says Stamp Merry Christmas craft die.

This is a card from Kit -  December Warm Holiday Wishes.

The Doodlebug Home for the Holidays,  the the stamps - Big Holiday Wishes and the Stencil Maryanne  Snowflake are all used from the Kit but also available separately.

I have also used Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® die Curved Edge and their  Kate Snowflake.

I used Bazzill Vellum with the sentiment and Stampendous Red Encrusted Jewel, a

I used some of the Tsukineko Sponge Daubers with Hero Arts Inks to colour the Stencil - I wanted it coloured with random - I really enjoyed doing this although I think I have room for imprevement and using a piece of cut sponge would make it more accessible to reach the tiny corners.
