Basic Grey............Happy Christmas

Another lousy photo - I do wish it would come light, I cant get a bulb for my light here so I sent for one to the UK - it came broken!!!!  I shall get one when I go back to the UK, meanwhile I shal just struggle on!!!

I know Google/Blogger is make changes at the moment (I think he experiments on me) - strange things are happening but at least I can now upload photographs although I did go as far as to open out a WordPress account just incase !!!

I've use Tilda from the Winter Wonderland 2013 set - I'm loving one of this set!!

Tilda is coloured her with Copics and I used the Basic Grey Soleil
The sentiment is from Simon Says Die & Stamp Set Sentiments, I haven't done it any favours - it is cut from Kraftcard and glittered it - it looks beautiful IRL - but on the card - lousy!!!

I didn't think I was going to make it this week - blogger has been playing silly again. I haven't been able to upload any photos and had this silly message - Upload failed: server reject.

I spent the whole of one day (and part of another) trying to sort out this problem - I was told to try another browser, a different - I've tried them all and eventually asked Lols to post my Simon Says Stamp at that I could post and copy it from their blog to mine.

I resorted to opening a WordPress account to open a photo to copy on the my blog - what a performance!!! However I tried blogger and now it is OK again???

Anyway I have now uploaded this card for Less is More - I have used Art Impressions Beanie Whoot complete with Googly Eyes, the papers are Simon Says Stamp Woodgrain Cardstock and the sentiment is both Simon Says Die & Stamp Sentiment Set and the Kelly Purkey Alphabet Stickers.

Well I hope you are all having a better week than I have been having but I hope now to start catching with my wasted time!!

I think two my favourite of Tim Holtz products are the Weathered Clock & Tattered Florals and used them together. I know I wanted white on white which look OK but it was a little, should I say boring so I decided to add a little colour with an image, which naturally it was Tilda!!
She sat in the clock nicely - I coloured her with Copics - I think it worked although it didn't end up with the white on white as I intended.
The sentiment is one of my farouite Hero Arts set - I think it has been retired but haven't been able to find it - still looking!!!

Everybody Art Challenge...........Brown & Pink

This week we have a colour challenge at Everybody Art Challenge

PINK & BROWN

I wanted to use Mo's image - Ragged Angel coloured with Copics although I think pink was a strange colour for yer. I coloured her wings with Ranger Perfect Pearls  and she is stood in Aleene's Glitter Snow

The papers are by Donna - Bearly Mine Design vol. III - Christmas page.

The  Memory Box Lorelai Leaves are used and a varuetty of flowers.

The sentiment is LOTV - it is a little big for my liking but I never seen to find the right sentiment and the right size. I don't think my writing is good enought to use, perhaps I should just use my computer???

I thought I would never managed to finish this card - I love this image but it took ages colouring it - it didn't help when I ran out of Copic G21 - I went to refill it only to find I had two at G20 - no  G21  which made life diffucult. I finished used the Lifestyle Craft Nesting Frame to cut the shape and used Magnolia cardstock Stitched Christmas as a sandwich. The border are stamped Ranger Distress inks using peg stamps.

I am still waiting for my Simon Says Stamp Die & Stamp set Sentiments - the local PO has gone off the boil again - not unexpected at this time of year, non the less very irritating.

I used the sentiment to great the sentiment - using vellum with a  Simon Says Says Stamp Sketchy Die.

Ooops - I just noticed I haven't fully coloured the holly berries at the top of the wreath - too late now - well I will colour it now but not re-photograph it again!!

lovely hAnglAr or sweet Magnolia .......Christmas is Coming!!

I love the time of year when I can start using my Christmas images - I have used this many years but have always coloured  it with Distress inks and coloured with red. This year for a change I have coloured it with Copics and with basically blue. 

I'm loving using the CAS style at the moment - this one didn't make the grade - it is neither CAS or Fancy & Fussy - it seem to have hit somewhere in the middle.

I have listed most of the material used and am still playing about with the different settings on my camera so I'm apologising again for the lack of a decent photograph!!!

As I make the sketch I thought I had better keep it as the usual and not deviate as I often do with a sketch!!

I've coloured the image with Copics and tried to make Muzzy (I think this is Muzzy) to look a little windblown, as it was hurtling down the hill with a look of horror in his face!!!

The small snowflakes scattered around are from last year - like an idiot I didn't leave the details in the backet - I'm almost sure they are by Eyelet Outlet but not quite the same.
