Less is More challenge

This weeks challenge at Less Is More is Paper Piercing - and I managed in time - I did do last weeks challeng bust too late to enter so I have shown it at bottom of this post.  I have a long way to go and much practice before I produce anything I feel happy about!!!!

The papers are Hero Arts Flower Dot Pattern  coorordeinated with the Out of Print Collections by Basic Grey. It stamped with Colorbox  Frost White ink and used a Ranger Heat Gun with an American Crafts Zing White Opaque. I used Distress inks with Tumbled Glass and  Dried Marigold  to colour the image.

My Sentiment is Paper Smooches Pretty Phrases

I have used the paper piercing around the edge of the papers and the label.

        

This one is last weeks challenge at Less Is More  - will show it as I will hopefully look back in the later of the year and see how much I have impressed - or not as the case ill be???

I used the gorgeous Tim Holtzs Vintage Shabby Paper Stack and used his Tattered Flowers - I added some of the flowers with Net Crinoline with some of the layers.

 I used Simon Stamps Harrington Vine and used Simplicity Lace - I'm not sure I have linked the correct lace - I really need to make a note when I buy  one.

The Tim Holtz's Distressing tool around the edges and I use Spellbinders Standard circles and Scalloped circles for sentiment coloured with a Stampendous alphabet. 

I have just noticed another little pearl in the flowers - ooops - I don't now how he has escaped in there!!

                      

Everybody Art Challenge

The theme this week at Everybody Art Challenge is tag and I used it as a bookmark.

I decided to use one of my favourite Stamps Happen image called 'Fairy with a Balloon' and used Copics for colouring.

I use Spellbinders Nestabilites Label 11 for the top of the tag and the base with Martha Stewarts punch Pansy and used the inner part embossed with Cuttlebugs Divine Swirls.

I cut the border are cut with a Martha Stewart punch, the corner cut with a Memory box Madera. 

Magnolia Sprawling Fernsthe  Simon Exclusives Bella Bloom and the Memory Box are Cherry Blossom - I have added them with a small button attached with Hemptique Twine

I've use a Saturated Canary image this week and coloured her with Copics.

I decided it is time to become a little more colourful  - I quite liked the colours put tried to tone it down  - not a good idea - I used dark blue which always managed to look black.

The papers are Marrakech  and the embellishments are -

corner are Cheery Lynns, the flourish thing is Marianne and the flowers are Wild Orchid and Magnolia.

I hope you all have a great weekend and not as cold as it is here - the ducks are having a skating party jusst stopping to snatch food out of my hands - brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

My Balloon Journey is by House Mouse Designs and coloured with Copics.
I cut out the Balloons twice to give them volume, attached them togother with Hemptique Twine using a little Silicone.

The papers are Basic Grey's Soleil - my favourite at the moment.

The main image is cut with a Martha Stewart Cherish punch. 

The  Apothecary Stamp and Die set is used with one of the stamp from the  Simon Says Card Kit February.
I used a  Simon Stamps Harrington Vine and part of the Bella Bloom, also  Memory Box 
Cherry Blossom - these are all embellished with Pearls from Hero Arts - pearl coloured

The Arrows and Hearts wooden and from Studio Calico.
