ANYTHING GOES

The design team have created some awesome projects for your inspiration, we are all featuring October Afternoon products this week, ou don't have to use them to join in but we would love to see them used if you have them.

My image is one of Sarah Kay's called Angels Rejoice which I have been coloured with Copics and cut out with a Spellbinders Ovals
We the DT's are featuring October Afternoon - I had wanted some papers but silly me forgot to add it onto my list, fortunately I had added one of there Farmhouse Wrap Back which is gorgeous and reminds me of Choir Boys which made me rush out for the Saray Kay's image.
I used three types of papers - two were Magnolia's  Stitching Red and  Holly Sheet, as I wanted a greyish colour I chose Prima's Nature Garden.
I used a Martha Stewart Snowflake and coated it with  Stardust Stickles.
I used Magnolia flowers with a Gerdenia and Cherri Blossoms and Small Roses

As always Heidi will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!!

Everybody Art Challenge is Autumn

We have reached Autumn at Everybody Art challenge - this seems to be all I am doing at the moment LOL!!
This is one of the Swiss Pixies - I bought this some years ago of a DT challenge - but you will see what you have arrived!!! The wrong image had been sent - I coloured her hair pumpkin coloured and cut her out for a stalk on her head - I decided not to bother this time!!!

I coloured Pippi (or whoever !!) with copics and sat her behind a WOJ gate.
The papers are Basic Grey's Mellow and added leaves and flowers from my Crealies.
The sentiment is from Magnolia.

This is the inside - I don't know why I have included that, I haven't added a sentiment as yet and it is all  bery boring!!!

Pheww - got here at last!!!.

This has sat in my computer for about 10/12 days - I thought it was time to publish it so this is a  quick post  - if I don't do it soon I will need to give poor Tilda a coat of snow!!!

I used Tilda with Hawaii Flower and coloured her in Distress Refills - I did this image twice and intended to colour her in another colour but every time I use this image I end up doing her in blur - I will do it again - I'm determined to do another colour.
The image is cut with a Spellbinder's Floral Oval
I used a Magnolia Doohickey Swirly Butterfly and Leaf and a fariety of flowers and sprinkled Stardust Stickles around.

This is the inner of the card and below the glitter although I don't know why I bothered as it still down't show

Simon Says........Emboss It !

This week the challenge is ...........

EMBOSS IT ............ heat and/or dry

This week we are asked to either Hot or Dry embossing - in my usual 'wishy washy' way I coundn't make my mind up - so - I decided to both together!! A bit of an experiment - I used white so sadly it doesn't photograph too well but it looks beautiful in Real Life especially with snowflakes. I shall certainly do it again and dry a colour.

.
My image is sweet Pia by Sarah Kay and coloured with  Copics and cut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals and Classic scallops.
I use a Cuttlebug with the Textile embossing folder - I used Stampendous Gloss embossing ink with a use a Ranger Brayer and then coated it with pearl Perfect Pearls Pastels.
The background paper is Dear Lizzy Neapolitan which I punched the top and bottom edges with  Martha Stewart and added them with Simplicity Lace
I used a variety of flowers which were used the Gloss embossing ink to the dauber with  the Stampendous Glitter kit.
I added a Maya Road Trinket Pin with a bow.
I now must add on my wish list a Acrylic Blocks - the state of mine are disgusting!!!
