My thunder storm creation !!!!

Oh what a fun day!!!

We have had the horrendous thunder storms for the larger part of the day. They took out the electricity on and off, I was losing the internet connection along with the satellite connection.

The only thing I could left today was to craft - so I did!!!

I get my connection back by which time it was dart although I did manage to get one photograph that was was reasonable - the rest I would do tomorrow.

My image is Sugar Nellie called the adorable Candy Pip and I used  Hero Arts Kraft paper and coloured her with Prisma Pencils. Papers are Bearly Mine Volume III and one from Just Plaid.
The Martha Stewart are - inner border is  Pansy and called outer is Cherish.and they are by 
Magnolia - Swirl'sl used along with Memory Box's by  Cherry Blossom, Fancy Blossoms,  Madera corner and Small Pinwheel.
I used  Net Crinoline for the bow and fastened with a button.
Whimsy finished with the Die and Stamp - oh and my little butterfly I had used with Colour Box white ink.

Right I shall see you all tomorrow when I finished photographing my images and add my challenges for adding.


EDITED The Thunderstorms have left and it is a beautiful day and have been able to rephotograph the images.

The Olympic House Mouse Marathon

I used a 'flip card' and cut it border with  Spellbinders Curved Rectangles this enabled me to Mice were runing around the image which is the  House Mouse hilarious Big Foot. I colours these in a compination of both  Copics and Priama pencils -  I love them both both together!!

 The papers are from First Edition - Up, Up and Away on the Cuttlebug Bird and Swirls embossing folder for the plainer coloured one.

I have used MFT Grass die the grass for the mousies to run on (safe their feet!!) and use an Cuttlebug for both the fancy sky and the border.

Mouse Mouse having a refreshing time!!

Now I have had to re-publish this post - these Mouies have run and I I have't a clue where they have gone??
I did swear at them because they didn't want photographing very well - obviously they had gone off in a sulk.

This is the mid-challenge for House Mouse and Friends challenge  and I have used the Basic Grey 'Our of Print' papers.
The image is called 'Bottle Time' and coloured in a mixture of Poychromos and Copics.
I use the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

How I am going to quickly publish this before the run off again!!

Everybody Art Challenge

It's week #199  and our  Everybody At Challenge   this week is  monochromatic brown 

Thanks for joining with us last week - see the DT's for inspiration.

I've used Babette cuddling Kitty and have coloured  with Polychromos. I think of monochrome with brown is perfect for the sweet image perfect for the Papers which are Bo Bunny's Welcome Home/

I have used the tag by Magnolia -  Vintage Tag.

The stamped ancient butterfly is coloured again with Poly's and finished with lace  (dyed with Distress Inks)

I have finished with a pearl string, a variety of flowers and a feather.

I hope you are all having a good week and hope those of you hit by atrocious are all OK and well!!!

What is my favourite colour ??  Anything soft and gentle colours so for this one I have chosen Basic Grey Periphery

I can't stay away from Tilda at the moment - she is Tilda with Hawaii Flower and using Tim Holtz Distress Inks Distress Refills,  I am jumping at the moment from between Copics,  Polychromo pencils and  Distress inks. I do feel certain images suit better with some medium than another.

I've used the Magholia Doohicky Leaf and Swirly Lace as a border, and  Magnolia flowers Cherry Blossoms among others.
The butterfly is of no origin - I've had it forever and love it - I've coloured it with the distress inks and Stardust Stickles and with Tilda's butterflies.
I've added a little tag to tuck in and used lace and a sparkly ribbon to finish.


EDITD - I've managed to work my camera - yipee!! Photographs are still rubbish though!!

Couldn't take anymore photographs - it 'stopped'  for some reason??? I all ready had the one. I shall now try to sort it out and finish the rest!!!

Simon Says........Anything BUT a Card!!!

Anything other than a card is this week's challenge and  we (the DT ) are using either 7 Gypsies or Maya Road Products  - I chose  7 Gypsies Album Book Journal to use to make as a Birthday Book - mine lost when I moved house and have been managed with note books or little noted in the computer - so - I decided it was time I treated my self to a new one.

I decided to deep the very simple of the 'Book' it will kept on the shelf and will be used regularly so doesn't need anything that will catch.I just used Magnolia's Fairy Dust  and the Mini Edwin - sent by a Friend but I could't find to link!! I use Tim Holtz's Paper StackVintage Shabby and Spellbinders Fancy Tags, all inked with Distress.

I used a Stampendous alphabet and coated it with Glossy Accents.  Tim's Corners will used when I they have gone into hiding whilst I was having my Craft room been blitzed and renewed.

       

I managed to colour one of pages - I really thought I was going to finished - HaH!!! I think I live at Cloud 1, Cuckoo Land!! Just 11 more pages to go!!!

The image for the outside image is the sweet Sarah Kay - Sweet Romance, I am coloured them with my
Prismacolors and the papers are Bo Bun.y - Welcome  and I used the borderI coloured the border by  Martha Stewart - Pansy and added  Magnolia - Swirl and Magnolia - Swirly Lace.
Memory Box Cherry Blossom and  Fancy Blossons - I love these as they don't take up too much bulk and are so pretty. A Heart Doily used as   complete the page.
