Basic Grey.............Anything Goes

Thank you so much to everyone who joined in with our It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Challenge.  I am sorry that some of you had problems linking your entries, I have no idea why and I did try to rectify it a few times but I wonder if it might have been an Internet Explorer problem as someone did change browser and managed to link their entry.  Anyway, ALL entries have been taken into account and a lucky winner will be drawn shortly !

This is our last challenge of 2012 and taking are taking a break until 12th January and so you have until then to get your entry in.

On behalf of the BasicGrey Challenges Team I would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and happy and healthy New Year.  Have lots of fun with your family and friends !

See you back here on the 12th January !

This week's challenge is

ANYTHING GOES !

Please remember that you do need to use at least one Basic Grey product on your creation to qualify for our prize !

As always, our wonderful sponsor,  Simon Says Stamp is offering one lucky winner a fab $25 shopping spree in  the Simon Says Superstore, just think of the goodies you could treat yourself to with that !!
(Please note: This is a voucher code that entitles the winner to a $25 saving off their order in Simon Says Stamp, P+P charges will still apply unless the conditions are met to earn free P+P, please check here if you would like to see these conditions)

My papers are from Recess and colours with used one of  Mo Manning Digital Pencil and coloured by Copics. I used Spellbinders circles and attached them to Beads and a couple of Bells  to a Bo Bunny brads and a ribbon.  I used the Tim Holtz Sizzix clock, using a Bo Bunny brads to the hands and finally added a New Year greeting by LOTV.

In reflection I should have created the card with a circular base so that it could swing  naturally -
the problem of hindsight is it comes too late!!!!

I hope you all have a brilliant Christmas and I wish you all everything you wish for in the New Year.
Thanks for stopping by

This week it is your favourite
ANYTHING GOES

As always Heidi will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!

I knew exactly what I wanted to make with the Holiday Shapes  and have the dangling somehow.
I decided to make the little lanterns and I use the Simon Says Exclusives Bella Blooks for the flowers on the top along with Leave.
I tries using both wire or fishing line to attached the Holiday Shapes but was unsuccessful and ended up just using pink cotton which was perfect. I glittered them all from Soarkle Ultra Fine for the pink lantern and the white one with some America Crafts Zing Pink They took forever although I really enjoined making them - such fun!!!
The Lace (Although I have to admit I am not sure it is the same one) I used around the edges and died the pink one with Tim Holtz distress ink Victorian Velvet.
The lantern were make from Bazzill white cardstock and Candy Pale for the pink.

I managed to get some little candles which look gorgeous in real life although my photographs don't do them any justice.
