LIM............Colour Challenge with Berry Shades!!

At LIM it is start of a new month means it's Colour week

and we've chosen Berry Shades

I've chosen shades of raspberries and blackburrents.

I started off by using some Colourcraft   Brusho Crystal Watercolours  with of Scarlet and Purple. I sprinkled  a TCW 'Mini Windspng' stencil and pressed it  on to the some Crafter's Companion Watercolour Paper. I wasn't happy about this so I shook the Busho colours onto a palette, sprayed with water and add onto the stencil and from the stencil onto the watercolour paper - this was much better!! 

I used the Simon Says Stamp  White Cardstock 120lb base and cute the Spellbinders Curved Borders to leave is panel to add the image.

I added the Simon Says Stamp sentiment die Be and with their Happy Die.

We are showcasing PAPER SMOOCHES PRODUCTS this week and I chose their Dog Icons Wise Die.  I've decided to put my Paper Smooches Kennel in a yard in a MFT Fence next to the house Tim Holtz Embossed Wall. I chose to use Simon's Says SIMON (he's such a sweetie and perfect for his kennel) - I gave him some Lawn Fawn Lawn to do a little scratching around and a few Bones to have a little gnawing on. 

The kennel has been cut with Simon Says Stamp Woodgrain Cardstock along with the bones. The Maya Road Twine is used to tie the two larger bones together along with the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Tags.

A New Magnolia!!

This is Tilda from one of the 2015 set.

I made this card for lovely  hAnglAr or sweet Magnolia (LHOSM) Challenge but we have taking a summer break and will be back at the beginning of September.

This little Tilda seems to be pink  - when I look at an image for the first time it just shouts me as which colour it should be, the trouble is I can't use any other colour!!

Is it just me or or do other people get stuck in to same colour with a image!!

Simon Saya......Kid's Summer Challenge!!!

I am just announcing a post about fun children's annual.

It is a fun challenge with have 1-3 crafting goodies available for Children inbetwen 2 and 16 years.

 Hi all and welcome to another of our annual Simon Says Stamp Summer Vacation Kid's Challenge where we host a special challenge dedicated to our young designers.

ANYTHING GOES 

It is time for all you crafters to let your children loose in your crafty corners for a few hours. Just close your eyes and set them free to explore their creativity :-) You are allowed to hide your Copic Markers and extra special papers and you are allowed to help just a little bit if necessary, but we really want the children to 'DO IT' themselves as much as possible :-)

This challenge is open to all children aged between 2 and 16 inclusive.

We have not 1, not 2 but  3 surprise parcels of crafty goodies, hand picked by Simon!

For this challenge we have a very special Junior Design Team who I am sure you will agree have done an excellent job.
