Di's BIO:  {I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like-minded people.  I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself. This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

COLOR COORDINATES 

We have a special challenge this week ! As you may know Simon's Creative Director Shari Carroll has a Color Coordinates monthly feature on the Simon Says Stamp Blog and this week we are joining in with Shari's color scheme AND Shari is joining us as a Special Guest here too !!

This is the gorgeous Coordinates Inspiration Board, featuring several of Simon's Colored Cardstock, for us to use.

I've use Simon Says Stamp Cardstock with  Three Shades of Gray, Lavender, Green Apple  & Black. The adorable image is from Tiddly Inks - Bewitching and I have coloured her with Copics and the bats are from Lawn Fawn Happy Haunting. The spider and webs are I Clear Mini Stamps - not available anymore. I did want to use all of the Color cooredinates including  Orange Peel but it didn't sort of fit in and I overcame this by colouring the image with strong orange hair. I found a little wooden bat, and coloured that with an orange colour, embossed it - not successful it just looks a little dirty.
I added the Lawn Fawn Happy Haunting sentimen along the 'grass'

Our Everyboday Art Challenge this week is.........

LEAVES

I chose to use these beautiful papers by Maja Desogns called 'Walking in the Forest'. I've had these papers for 2/3 years - I loved them so much I couldn't bear to use them - now I've managed!!!

Because of the stunning papers I didn't want to add any embellishments so I just added a bow and small charm and a vellum tag stamped with the Magnolia sentiment.

I have troubled photographing this card getting the colour right - I managed first thing this morning.

I've chosen the adorable image by House Mouse Designs called 'Napping on a Thistrle). I coloured the image by Copics and coloured the border of the image with Glitter Ritz.

I love the Pink Psilsee papers, especially the Color Wash. The swirl dies are by Simon Says Stamp dies - sadly Reduntant - I love them but can't stop using them!!

Iv'e add some glass buttons which I added to the La La Land heart banner. The ribbon and lace are both from my stash.  I am hoping I can use up all by bits and bobs - this centenary
