Basic Grey - your favourite !!!

My 'Favourite' and the moment is the beautiful papers - Soleil - I love them and must get more!!!

I've use the sweet Tilda with Love for my (favourite at the moment) - I have coloured yer with  Copics.

I have cut the inner border with Martha Stewart Cherish punch. 

My embellishment are Simons exclusives Simon Exclusives Harrington Vine die, Magnolia's  Spruce Twigs and a Memory Box Small Pinwheel.

The Memory Box Seville Buckle has been used to attached the ribbon,  the butterfly is stamped with Color Box white on vellum and a Ranger Heat gun, the underside is coloured with Copics.

I added the flowers with small pearls and a a strand of pearls on the metal decoration.

I hope you all have a brilliant weekend - we are snowing again this morning as it has for the last week so I'm not going anywhere unless necessary!!!

CAS 2 - or Less is More!!!

Here I am with my second attempt at a CAS design I find it so difficult to not clutter it up with details.

This week is the 2nd anniversary of the Less is More challenge blog - started entering at the beginning but often petered out  - try again, then petered out again. I really wanted to enter this week on their anniversary.

This week the challenge Kraft and Kreme. I use the Kraft card as the base and embossed part of it with Cuttlebug Distress Stripes. The image is stamped with a Penny Black Blush stamp and heat embossed.

The sentiment -'thinking of you' is from a Simon Says Exclusive to which I added to some hessian ribbon.

It takes me so much longer to create the card than it does to post it on my blog for a change!!!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Anything Goes Challenge.  We had a HUGE number of entries  and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

Have a Heart 

We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusives this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them.

This has been a bit of a nightmare photographing - the colours kept coming out wrong -  I think this is about right although the dark grey is much darker than it should be .

I used white card and accentuated with Pink Core-dinations Pastens.

Simon Exclusive Apothecary Stamp and Die set are used for the panel  and their Harrington Vine for detail around one the Wplus9's Hearts and Clouds. I used part of a Crafty Secrets stamp to use the border.

The bottle (part of a Christmas present) I filled with shower gel and attacked with the Prima Strawbery Ice

and some sheer and satin ribbon together with the stunning heart attached to the orignal bottle.

The box made with strong white card and a lid with Pink Core-dinations Pastens.

The Simon Exclusive Apothecary Stamp and Die set and Harrington Vine were acceseries and with and the Wplu9 Hearts and Clouds,  Prima Strawbery and Prima Ice Gillian Raspberry 

           

Everybody Art challenge want Hearts!!!

Everybody Art Challenge for this week is Hearts  and used Magnolia's Tilda Love is in the Air and coloured her with Copics.
The papers Basic Grey from a plain sheet of the Boxer pad which is blue put insists on looking like black!!!
The hearts are Wplus9 dies Hearts and Clouds which I embossing with the Cuttlebug Textile which is interwoven with the Simon Exclusives Harrington Vine die flourish.
The ribbon is Organza rose ribbon around the base is Maya Road and the sentiment is C.C. Designs Amy R's Be Happy Sentiment

I have use the design using Lifestyle Crafts nesting frames and added a brad to attached them together with is part of a a Penny Black image and used  Rangers Glossy Accents

The card stock is Lily Bee - Autumn Spice and I have add the sweet Gruffie and coloured used it with Copics.  I've used Wplus9  Clouds and Hearts and slightly tinted the base with Copics to add some dimension.

This is the middle panel.

I have added a sentiment panel but haven't added anything as I don't know what to use as het!!!

Lovely hÄnglar & Sweet Magnolia Challenge Blog.

This is my first card as a DT member of the Lovely hÄnglar & Sweet Magnolia Challenge Blog.

I should have been being a Guest DT on the last challenge - my cat walked over my ink palette then through my card - I could have taken him a walk though the window - he can be a pain in the neck - he sits on my keyboard, he pinches my flowers and chews up my ribbons!!! 

I also (that week) had water pouring from my bath - well no - seeping through so then I had to bet that sorted out and I had an electrician - fortunately at least I'm here!!!

I've chosen the sweet hÄnglar for my image and coloured her with Distress Inks.

Her border is stamped with a Magnolia snowflake and heat embossed it, I then use Color Box inks to colour them. The flowers are mainly Magnolia and some of Prima's. 

The border is punched with a Martha Stewart Double Scallop - the envelop is from Magnolia and I finish with a tulle ribbon with a Prima flower.

CAS ................well sort of !!!!

Each New Year I decide I am going to make at least one CAS card per week.

I'm not very good at it - no - let's be true - I'm useless at it!!! I always feel like something is missing, especially along the corners.

Practice makes Perfect - or so they say - I'm not sure about that but I WILL TRY - so........

here is nomber 1

how let's see how long it lasts!!! Constructive criticism would be mush appreciated -  please tell me what is wrong and/or what I can put right.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Card Kit for  October Kit apart from the hearts which are Wplus9 dies Hearts and Clouds, it is used a plain brown card stock - and that it is!!!

At least my post is nice and sweet and doesn't last as long as usual.
